Product story

Inspired by the elliptical orbits of the planets and moons that line the inner edges of our vast solar system, the Loer Pendant Light brings weightless illumination to any space it reaches. Combining beautiful translucent glass, sustainable steam bent ash wood and brushed metallic brass, the Loer showcases minimal, nature-inspired design at its finest.

Meaning ‘Moon’ in Cornish, the Loer Pendant showcases a translucent glass orb with clouded bands of warm celestial white light which suspends within a sleek halo of supple ash wood. Held in place by brass detailed fixings that reflect the soft illustrious glow of the spherical globe when illuminated, the opulent Loer Pendant looks equally as eye-catching when switched off. This contemporary wooden light is suited to an array of interiors and property styles and looks particularly striking suspended in clusters.

Deliveries

COVID19 Update

Our workshop is open as usual, but operating with a smaller workforce in line with government guidelines. Our workshop team are making and dispatching your orders out of our logistics area as usual. Find out more here.

Our couriers are ensuring that the parcels are delivered as safely as possible to your doorstep, with no contact. If your parcel doesn’t fit through your letterbox, the delivery driver will place the item at your door and stand at a safe distance while you collect it.

Our customer services team remain on hand to answer calls and reply to any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need anything, they’d love to hear from you.

 

*International Delivery*

We ship our furniture and lighting products internationally. Shipping costs to some zones or locations do not automatically display on our website. If you are unable to checkout due to a shipping issue please email our sales team at sales@tomraffield.com with your delivery address and details of which products you would like to order. You will be contacted with a competitive delivery quote.

 

Dispatch

Free UK delivery over £50.00

All of products are handcrafted and made to order by our workshop team. Once you've selected your products and added them to the basket, you will see a dispatch estimate e.g. 'dispatched in 4 weeks'. Dispatch is when we send the product to our delivery partner, not the date it arrives to your door. Below you will find more information on the delivery process and how long after dispatch you should expect delivery.

Wherever possible, we aim to deliver within 24 hours of dispatch. We will contact you via email the day before the delivery to let you know that the delivery will take place the next day. On the morning of delivery, our delivery partner will send you a text message (providing you added a telephone number to your order) or email, to inform you of your 1 hour delivery slot. You will have the option to reschedule delivery to a different date, leave the parcel with a neighbour or send to a local depot for collection - if you intend to action one of these options please let us know as soon as possible. 

For large volume or quantity orders we may use a private courier to deliver your order or, the pallet network. If we opt to use one of these services a member of our sales team will be in contact prior to your order dispatch to talk through delivery methods and find the most suitable option for you.

Please note: Please remember to check that items can be delivered into your space easily. This includes checking hallways and door frames throughout the property. if an item cannot be delivered it will be returned to our workshop and a return delivery fee of £10 will be charged. Charges will also apply to cancelled deliveries, failed deliveries or return collections. 

 

Weekend Delivery

Delivery usually happens during weekdays, though we can sometimes (courier dependent) arrange a Saturday delivery. Please contact us after you have placed your order and we can arrange this for you.

 

Grouped Delivery

If you have ordered multiple items, they will be shipped together as per the longest lead time. If this is not convenient and you would like each product shipped when it is ready please let us know.

Returns

 

If your item is not suitable and just doesn’t ‘fit’ then under Distant Selling Regulations you can return the items to us within 14 days of receipt of your goods for a full refund (excluding postal charges if any).

Items should be unused, returned in their original packaging and in a fully resalable condition.

We offer a free returns service (mainland UK addresses only) that is easy to use and stress free. Just pop the product back in the box and fill out our organise a return form letting us know a convenient day to pick it up from you. We will then contact FedEx UK / DPD and arrange your collection. 

If your order was delivered on a pallet please repackage your product/products and assemble them back on to the pallet. You can fill out the organise a return form below or alternatively, call our logistics team on 01326 722725 who will arrange this for you.

For returns outside of mainland UK customers will be responsible for payment of the return delivery.

We will refund the original credit card used for the purchase as soon as the goods have arrived back with us, or offer an exchange or replacement. Please note: Refunds can take up to 10 working days to be received following receipt of the goods.

Products that are made to a specific order, to include all of our seating (made to order furniture) cannot be refunded, unless there is a fault with the product.

Please note orders for furniture upholstered in bespoke fabric choices cannot be refunded, unless there is a fault with the product.
