Born in the barrel of a waking wave, the Comber Lighting Range is shaped by the reverberating tides that lap the Cornish coastline. Inspired by the power and grace of the Atlantic Ocean, our newest collection ebbs, flows and rolls into your home, bringing with it the motion of seasonal Cornish swells.
Adorning homes with the calming complexity of coastal forms, the Shore Pendant graces interiors with curving form. A soothing interpretation of barrelling waves, the Shore’s enveloping sustainably sourced ash, oak, or walnut is hand curved to provide a wooden lampshade that is different from every angle. Timber crescents are layered to partially cocoon the bulb, diffusing illumination through each cosy alcove. Suiting any space where a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere is required, the wooden Shore Pendant Light grounds any interior as a standalone design or gathered in clusters to mimic sculpturesque, shoreline scenes.

We’re committed to using sustainably sourced timber from responsibly managed forests for all of our iconic designs, to ensure environmental security and renewability. Finished with eco-friendly natural oil with a matt finish.
PACKAGING
Tom Raffield packaging is 100% plastic free. Sustainably sourced cardboard is, and has always been, used to package goods ready for dispatch as well as recycled papers, labels and bespoke-made packaging all of which is widely recyclable and compostable.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality homeware pieces that are designed and made to the very highest standards. We offer a lifetime guarantee on Tom Raffield Ltd own designs, ordered directly from us (online or over the phone) and limited to domestic users only.

Manipulating wood into complex, gravity-defying bends are what we’re known for. Hand-curved or steam bent, our low-energy and ecological process uses just water, heat and the technical skill of our master craftspeople.
REPAIRABLE
This product is designed and crafted using innovative methods and components that are easy to dismantle for repairing, re-using or recycling if needed. These circular design methods give us the tools to prevent the creation of waste and pollution right from the start.
HANDMADE IN THE UK
Everything produced by the Tom Raffield team is handcrafted locally at our BREEAM Excellent workshop and studios in Cornwall, UK. Renewable energy is sourced from solar panels and any additional energy comes from a 100% renewable supplier who invest in future technologies.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
DELIVERY TO USA & CANADA
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and destination. All of our products are handcrafted and made-to-order within a lead time period clearly stated on each product page. If you have ordered multiple items, they will be shipped together within 24 hours of the longest lead time. The shipment time will be advised at checkout and will commence once your order leaves our workshop.
DUTIES & TAXES
To make your delivery experience as smooth as possible, we offer the option to prepay all applicable duties and taxes at checkout on most orders. Simply select this option when placing your order and the full cost will be calculated and added to your cart, so there are nothing to pay when your shipment arrives. If you prefer not to prepay, duties and taxes will be collected by the courier upon delivery in line with your country's import regulations. We recommend prepaying where possible to avoid any delays or unexpected charges.

RETURNS INFORMATION
As our products are handcrafted and made-to-order, returns are at our discretion for orders delivered outside the UK and EU/EEA but we will always do our best to find a solution. If you do need to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Any approved return will need to be shipped back to us at your cost and in resalable condition.
Please note that outbound shipping costs, duties, taxes, and any courier handling charges are non-refundable. If a delivery is refused or returned to us due to unpaid duties or taxes, we will refund the product value only, once the goods have been received back in resalable condition and after any return freight or associated charges have been deducted.
