Small Space Accessories
Sustainably designed and handcrafted in South Cornwall, Tom Raffield designs are synonymous with nature; each product is hand-shaped using sustainable wood and created as sculptural pieces of art using a pioneering form of steam bending.
The latest curved designs to join the ever-growing Tom Raffield range are the Tilner Mirror and Mawnan Planter - each designed to suit smaller living places and make perfect feel-good, sustainable gifts for loved ones.
Tilner Mirror
A sleek crescent of steam bent oak shoulders a striking rounded mirror. Effortlessly elegant, the free standing Tilner Mirror is a minimalist design worthy of reflection.
Inspired by the swooping bend of a flexing bow, the arching wooden base of the Tilner features a nestled round mirror guaranteed to create the illusion of space in any setting. Showcasing confident, bold curves of sustainably sourced oak, the Tilner Mirror is a portable, versatile piece designed for smaller spaces.
Celebrate natural beauty.
Mawnan Planter
Summon nature inside, transform space. The pinch of a potter’s hand, the sculpting skill in a steam bender's twist. Where traditional craftsmanship and innovative design fuse, The Green Range breathes new life.
A slim length of sustainably sourced steam bent ash wood gently arches above a hand-glazed earthenware bowl to become a tactile, eye-catching handle. Multifunctional and portable by design, the Mawnan Planter can be situated in a table-top position or hung by its braided rope to display trailing indoor houseplants. The perfect gift for any green-fingered urban gardener.
Available exclusively online from Tom Raffield, the new small-scale products offer designer, handcrafted homeware at affordable price points.
With a firm focus on sustainability, just like the brand's other iconic ranges, the Tilner Mirror and Mawnan Planter showcase Tom Raffield's signature use of steam bending - an ecological, low-energy process that yields breathtaking, memorable results. Each new design incorporates sustainably sourced ash or oak wood yet flawlessly combines other durable, long-lasting materials such as glass and slip-cast ceramics.
“Our new small-scale designs have the same versatility, memorable aesthetic and functionality as our other wooden designs - but also add the finishing-touch to your space. Both the Tilner and Mawnan make thoughtful, considered gifts for loved-ones who have an interest in working towards a greener planet.”
