Classic Blue: Celebrating Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2020

Pantone recently announced Classic Blue as their 2020 Colour of the Year; describing the colour as a “reassuring presence instilling calm, confidence and connection”.

Tranquil and timeless, Classic Blue reminds us of the deep blue Cornish oceans that surround our workshop. We’ve handpicked some of our favourite pieces from our range that perfectly compliment this hue, along with our tips on how to incorporate blues into your interior.

Choose the right shade of blue

Sky, baby, teal or aqua? Choosing the right shade for your intended space is key as every blue will yield different results and create a different feel in your home.

If you're more of a minimal interior design trend admirer then opting for a warm-toned muted blue will brighten your space and suggest a coastal atmosphere without creating a clinical feel.

Decorating your space using rich, deep blues can result in a luxurious and sophisticated aesthetic. Bold floor-to-ceiling colour blocking is a sure fire way to create a statement and is also suited to an array of properties.

Accessorise
