Tom Raffield Showcases New Lighting Designs at London Design Week 2009

After the successful launch of the Ash Pendant at last years 100% Design, Tom Raffield will be showcasing a range of his new Walnut Pendant lights under the ‘A Little Something From Us’ stand at Portobello Dock. The lights, similar to the Ash Pendant show off this stunning form in a darker, more exuberant wood, using over 100 metres of steam bent coiled Walnut, spiralling and weaving through itself to create a beautiful seductive glow.
Tom Raffield’s latest clients who have used the Walnut Pendants to name but a few include the Aldo Zilli restaurant in Soho, London and the Tiara Hotel in Dubai with the Silver Fleet Barracuda River Boat and The Taste Restaurant in Enniskillen, Ireland using the Ash and Sycamore Pendants.

‘MARK Product’ stand, 100% Design: Ribbon Light
Designed exclusively for MARK Product, the Ribbon Light, nominated for the ‘Homes and Gardens Best Light 2009 Award’ will be on display at this years100% Design. The Ribbon Light uses traditional steam techniques and embodies all the elements of fine design which transform an everyday object into a work of art.
